He was the first entry to get the question I posed last week correct; who is Dr. Bicker? He was the resident lothario on the 1970’s show the Love Boat.

He will be getting a nice DNSi prize pack.

However, Christy and her ilk from my new bank will be getting no such prize pack.

I forgot to mention in yesterday’s email about another reason I should have bolted out the door for another bank.

Christy handed me her business card which had a phone number scrawled on the front.

I joked with her asking, “Couldn’t BB&T / Suntrust-now Truist afford to get you a new card with the correct phone number?”

And yes they managed to get the entire bank name on the card, but couldn’t manage to get the phone number right.

She said she has asked several times, but the head teller has not gotten around to it.

And since I am tearing into her biz card, let me tell you her title: Branch Banker IV.

Is a IV better or worse than a III or V?

Business cards are not dead. They are very much alive.

They are often the first or only impression a prospect may see.

And for that reason, your card needs to send the right message in the right way.
