Bamboozled by the false notion

Who ever came up with the notion that time should be or can be managed should be forced to ride "It's a Small World" at the Disneyland for all eternity. Do not get bamboozled or conned into thinking you can manage time. It is a fallacy, an ugly deception spouted by time-management-so-called-experts.
  • Time cannot be managed.
  • It just marches on.
  • With or without you. (Great U2 song btw)
  • Minute by minute, hour by hour, it continues its' march forward.
  • Never looking back
Why do humans think they can manage time? We are the only living beings on the planet that have the audacity to attempt to manage something that cannot be managed.
  • Squirrels don't manage time. They get all of their work done in the summer and fall, knowing that winter is coming.
  • Trees don't manage time. They get all of their work done, blooming in the spring, absorbing water through the summer and fall to be stored during the cold dry months of winter.
  • Gorilla's don't manage time. They organize and plan their days knowing that sunlight is limited. They hunt, gather and socialize before darkness comes.
So my puny fellow humans... We cannot manage time either. Erase that phrase from your brain. If we can't manage it, what can we do with time? We get all we can out of the time allotted to us each day. Some people have a day that looks like this:
  • Wake up whenever
  • Immediately check social media, even before getting out of bed.
  • Check the news
  • Eat a bowl of Lucky Charms thinking "they wouldn't sell it if it wasn't good for you"
  • Check email
  • Check social media again
  • Pick the easiest item on their to do list and do it. Just to feel a sense of accomplishment.
  • Go get a cup of coffee
  • Check email
They continue the same cycle all day long. Polluting their minds and bodies and wondering why they have a low bank balance. Not me boys and girls. And certainly not for all of the super successful entrepreneurs in the world. No siree bob! We have a POS No, not a "piece of sh*t" A Personal Operating System
  • A system that tells me what time to wake up
  • A system that feeds my mind and body only things that are nourishing
  • A system that permits me to have time off
  • A system that fosters getting more done in an hour than most people do all day
  • A system that generates income, every day.
  • A system that forces others to obey my POS, or we don't do business
