Ka-Boom!
That’s all I heard yesterday afternoon.
A giant Ka-Boom that caught my attention.
I am not sure if you caught the news last night or this morning, but a couple of F-16 fighter jets were scrambled (military talk for “took-off”) to intercept a wayward plane.
Evidently, the military thought it was enough of a threat that they authorized the jets to go…
SUPER SONIC!
Faster than the speed of sound, able to leap tall… oops, wrong story.
Apparently, the pilot of the plane was incapacitated and was unresponsive. This is the main reason I won’t get on a plane without at least 2 pilots.
The plane eventually ran out of fuel and crashed in northern Virginia.
No national crisis or emergency. Unless of course you were on the plane.
What’s this have to do with your business?
Except for the crashing part, just about everything.
If you want prospects to see and read your marketing you must capture their attention.
You need your own Sonic BOOM!
Examples of your Sonic BOOM:
- A compelling headline or subject line
- A cool envelope
- Lumpy mail
- Outlandish mailing
- A compelling intro to a video
- SOMETHING to grab their attention so that they continue to watch or read
It doesn’t matter how great your ad is if it never gets read.
