For your safety... Be careful who you listen to
Yes, I would agree, do not use cow poop as a co.vid cure.
Evidently in India, where Hindu's consider the cow sacred, citizens have been bathing in cow poop to fight off the virus.
The New York Post stated:
Some residents of Gujarat in the western part of the country have been visiting cow shelters to rub the excrement on their bodies, then hug or honor the cows while the mixture dries.
I wish a few others would go hug the backside of a cow.
Especially those Doc McStuffins who use their media to spread mistruths, lies and twist facts to suit their own view of the world.
In the April issue of the NO B.S. newsletter, the CEO of the company did just that.
Sorry, but I can not just sit idly by and not respond to this garbage.
In his commentary, he was accusing Disney of using the safety of guests as an excuse to reduce costs and services. His comments in italics, mine in bold. He started by trying to imply Disney has jacked its price up.
- To quote him "ticket prices continue to go up, up, up.... the average “get in” price is about $150 per person." It is true that a ticket that allows you to attend more than one park is about 150 bucks. But a regular admission to one park is still right around 100.
- He continued: “For Your Safety” many rides were temporarily closed. Explain to me how sitting close to someone on the People Mover in Tomorrowland is unsafe whereas sitting close to someone on Thunder Mountain Railroad safe? The People Mover has been closed since before the pandemic for refurbishment and updating. Its closure has nothing to do with a virus.
- “For Your Safety” Disney only has a limited number of characters roaming around the park. Actually the opposite is true. Disney has increased character appearances throughout the park. There are mini parades and characters popping up all over. There are more appearances now than in the history of the park!
There were at least another half dozen lies in the article all starting with the phrase "for your safety".
To be fair, he was just imitating what he heard from another Doc McStuffin (A Disney-expert-wanna-be).
Which brings me to my point. (Yes, I finally got to it)
Be careful who you listen to.
And why should you listen to me?
