I don’t want more money

I just finished lunch with a bunch of the attendees at the conference where I am presenting, and I heard the most amazing thing.... To be fair I have heard it before From poor people. Anywho... I was sitting next to a guy who owned a carpet cleaning business who tried to tell me that making $80 was more than making $280. I had to admit I was a bit dumbfounded. He says that he can clean a rug in a home in about 15 minutes. He charges $1 per square foot. If I were take out all of his costs (Labor, insurance, solutions, etc.) he would be left with about $16. I told him that when I clean the same rug and bring it to my rug studio, I get $3.50 per sq/ft or $280. After my expenses I am left with $56 4x what he makes... Not double, not triple but 4 times! He was saying to me that he did not want to make more money. That is lazy, slothful, and just plain dumb business. Poor people think this way. Lazy people think this way. He deserves to be poor. (Harsh, I know, but sheesh!) In my book Systematic Magic, (which you can get here CLICK,) I talk about thinking like an entrepreneur. Specifically, getting the most out of every day, through the use of planning and systems. If he tried to join the rest of my DSNi Inner Circle Cast Members, I would forbid it. At least until he read the book. You see, DSNi Inner Circle Members think differently. They think like entrepreneurs. Most, if not all, are running successful businesses and would never confuse $16 with $56. (Which by the way, annualized is a cool TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS compared to his 8000. What could you do with that extra ka-ching? I firmly believe, that the more money I make, the more people I can help. I can take portions of the 20 grand and upgrade/replace worn equipment, increase speed and production, and of course invest some for me to use later as I see fit. Vacations come to mind   What?
