Last night I hosted a dinner for my Alliance mastermind members at one of my favorite restaurants; Coopers Hawk Winery. One of the most powerful parts of being in a mastermind is the opportunity for fellowship (womenship, themship, thoseship, whatevership).
At dinner two very remarkable entrepreneurs were engaged in a heated conversation when the server came by to offer dessert.
Now mind you, we just killed appetizers, bread, large entrees and a few bottles of wine. But they decided to split some ginormous cookie-in-a-skillet-ice cream-sundae, and asked for two spoons.
Somehow, the conversation took a very wrong turn (even this morning we don’t know if it was a left or right turn) and one of the guys mentioned they would just be spooning the dessert.
Of course all manner of spooning (Insert your own spooning inuendo joke here) ensued and we laughed for about 5 minutes.
This is how relationships are born.
Not just in a meeting where business is discussed.
But breaking bread (drink wine if you like) with another person and truly finding out more about them and solidifying a bond that began in the meeting.
You see, when I designed the Alliance mastermind, I knew it was going to be powerful.
Not just in the business breakthroughs, but in the community I created where relationships like this can flourish.
They have agreed to do business together.
I am not sure if they decided that before or after spooning each other. But it doesn’t matter.
Two business owners just exponentially moved their business forward.
