- I’m leavin’, on a jet plane…..
- Oh, big ol’ jet airliner. Don’t carry me too far away
- And music is my aeroplane. It’s my aeroplane
- I’m learning to fly (learning to fly), but I ain’t got wings
- Take me to the pilot
- Flew in from Miami Beach B.O.A.C. Didn’t get to bed last night. On the way the paper bag was on my knee. Man, I had a dreadful flight
Man, there are some great songs written about flying and airplanes, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, Elton John and the list goes on.
And I am about to board my flight to the land of Mickey in just a few short minutes.
I wanted to revisit my question from yesterday:
What Would Walt Do?
I hope that got you thinking.
WEWWD?
What else would walt do?
The next thing Walt would do with your business would be to implement some WOW components to how you serve your clients.
The question Walt would ask you is “how can you create an experience out of the mundane“?
The Wow Component means not only to meet the expectations of your clients or guests, but to exceed them, on a repeatable and consistent basis.
To be sure, there are many companies that may WOW their clients occasionally. Maybe the occasional “above the call of duty” experience.
Getting upgraded for free on a flight, extra whipped cream on a sundae, or an employee just did everything possible to make an unhappy client, happier.
But to truly Disnify your business, you need to make exceeding your clients’ expectations your standard operating procedure.
In order to consistently exceed your clients’ expectations, you must be dogmatic, strict and unyielding in your pursuit. Analyzing your clients’ experience (from their perspective, not yours), understanding your Client Compass (Needs, Wants, Stereotypes and Emotions) and committing every part of your business (Processes, Infrastructure, Design and Training) to creating a magical experience.
This Wednesday 12/8/21, I will be doing a workshop showing you how to implement a system of wowing.
